This is my favourite shot of this series. I like the life/movement, and the way that the boats have come together in a triangular formation. This triangle is pleasing to my eye and gives perspective (a sense of depth).

In this situation I found that a pleasing composition would form and fall apart in a second or two, and as with all highly fluid situations the best thing was to keep on shooting whilst also looking for good compositions. I also had to keep an eye on the exposure, avoid salt water damage to cameras, avoid kneeling on rocks and sharp shells, look around you for other photo opportunities, make a cup of tea, and so on.
