The church went to Paul & Lynda Halverson's property in Ramarama for a picnic lunch. They have a very nice farm with all sorts of friendly animals (hormonal Highland Shorthorn cattle excluded). The kids got to see a couple of cows being milked, ride a Clydesdale horse, and meet various animals. It was a lovely afternoon and the Halverson's hospitality was much appreciated. They went to a lot of effort to make the afternoon pleasant for everyone.
The Clydesdale in these photos is 17½ hands, which means that it's 5'10" or 175cm high at the base of the neck. Clydesdales can weigh more than 900kg/2000lb: I like them, but I wouldn't want to meet one that's in a bad mood.
The lighting was terrible for photography but I've done what I can with the photos. Each one has been edited, but if there's something you want done with a particular photo let me know and I'll see what I can do. Miracles by prior arrangement only.
