These photos show a very impressive fall of hail in Manurewa, South Auckland, with drifts up to two inches deep. This is unprecedented in my memory.
Meterologists are describing the weather system as a one-in-50-year event, with snow at sea level in Wellington and a
video record of snow falling in Pukekohe, south of Auckland.
